Tidal Wave Auto Spa says it bought and rebranded six Georgia and Alabama car washes

Why this matters: our read

For a 332-location chain this is a small step. Vidalia and Cordele are the only markets it newly enters, and the other four sites add to places it already operates.

Tidal Wave Auto Spa announced on September 18 that it has acquired and rebranded six car wash locations, five in Georgia and one in Alabama, bringing the company to 332 locations across 30 states. The release does not disclose the seller or the purchase price.

The Georgia sites are in Macon (two), Vidalia, Cordele and McDonough, and the Alabama site is in Muscle Shoals. The company says the deal expands its presence in Macon and Muscle Shoals, enters Vidalia and Cordele, and gives McDonough four Tidal Wave locations with a fifth planned for 2027.

The company says all six locations now use its service model and technology, and that customers there can choose single washes, unlimited memberships, family plans and fleet plans, with members able to wash at any of its 332 locations. Founder and CEO Scott Blackstock says the company is committing more to the Southeast.
