Club Car Wash buys 13 Glide Xpress stores and says member pricing holds through 2027

Why this matters: our read

Members keep the old price until the end of 2027, then move to the buyer's pricing. What that step looks like is the number to watch.

Club Car Wash, a Columbia, Missouri operator, announced on October 2 that it has acquired Glide Xpress Car Wash and will renovate 13 stores across the Mid-South. The seller’s advisor, Amplify Capital Group, describes the sale as 13 locations in Tennessee and Arkansas, around Memphis, Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas, and says Glide Xpress continues to own and operate its Springfield, Missouri locations. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Club Car Wash says Glide Xpress members keep their current plans and pricing through December 31, 2027, and then move to Club Car Wash pricing. The releases give no figures for that pricing.

The company says each store will close temporarily for a renovation that typically takes three to five days and reopen as a Club Car Wash, and that a store operates as usual until its renovation starts. Amplify, a Scottsdale, Arizona advisory firm for car wash sales and capital, acted for the seller.
